Ukranian Institute of Speleology and Karstology Library Fund

Recently, an unfortunate fire claimed the 10,000 volume library of cave and karst literature, including many rare books and publications, that was to be used to start the Ukranian Institute of Speleology and Karstology's (UISK) new library. Dr. Alexander Klimchouk is working with the KRG and the National Cave and Karst Research Institute (NCKRI) to help rebuild the library using donations of books, publications, journals, and money from the cave and karst community. The Karst Research Group at USF will serve as the depository of the donations from North America, and with the help of NCKRI, we will inventory and ship the books to the UIKS.

noneGo to the UISK Homepage for more INFO

We ask that you please donate in some way, either by sending us copies of karst and cave literature you are willing to donate, or by making a monetary contribution to aid in buying new books and shipping costs. This is a great way for the cave and karst community to show its support to a friend in need.
